A friend wanted to ask me but I don't know so I'll ask here, is it still possible to get 48-49 if you dropped 2 marks in midyear and no marks for end of year?
I think yes, but what are your thoughts?
-
I don't see why not, dropping 2 marks in exams overall should be capable of 48-49.
[provided SAC scores aren't low]
-
Despite what a lot of people are saying I don't think the A+ cutoff from last year will change that much so I think 48-49 is definitely possible
-
say if you dropped 6 marks in exam 1. Got low A+'s for ur SACs (assume a middle class cohort) and drop about 5 marks in exam 2. is it possible to get 38 raw?
-
Yeah, I think thats possible, but not 100% though.
-
yea i got 38 last year, with A A+ A+

I think yes too. I think 50 is possible.
The assessment reports generally say that about 15-or-so people get full marks each exam. They won't all be the same people either. So it should be possible.

Definately. Last year I got 39 with:
Exam 1: A
SACs: A+
Exam 2: A
And losing 6 and 5 marks over both exams should get you high A's at the VERY least. And this was with an average to below-average cohort.

hmm. the SS estimator says that i will get 38-39 with
GA1 - A+ (low)
GA1 - A (high)
GA3 - A (low)
how accurate is this thing?
-
not that accurate. There is no way to precisely predict your SS without having the data of all the 8000 Physics students

hmmph, can i get a 35 for physics if i get average 80's for sac and say 70/90 for this exam? and say i got a C for this exam, is it possible to bring this C up if i ace my unit 4 exam.
