Wow I seriously have a bad problem procrastinating.
Got home at 2. Did nothing. And now its 8.
I have 2 Exams tomorrow (Chemistry/ Psych). Haven't started studying!
HELP OMFG
I'm seriously scared I might fail Chemistry. I seriously don't want to do anything. I just want to go to sleep and wish tomorrow will never come.
Best Cramming tips?

Best Cramming tips?
1. Divide remaining time between Chem and Psych
If you are scared of failing chem, spend more time doing chem
2. Speed read the chapters on the SAC
3. Do every 4th question (or whatever) in textbook
4. If you don't know it, do more speed reading
5. Do every 3rd question in a practice SAC (If you are given one).
If I cram, I find that this helps :) good luck

Cheat.
For a few of my SACs, I brought in a small piece of paper in really small handwriting, really cramped, that either had definitions, formulas, and other stuff. I'll use maybe 1/4 of an A4 page, and fold it in half so that it is less likely to be seen. I can turn over to the other side whenever I want.

Cheat.
Do not cheat
-
I'd rather do bad than cheat....
That isn't an option for me

Inb4 -15.
Good on you, shadows.

After said exams, the next thing you should consider doing is to plan your catch up time so that this doesn't end up happening again. Cramming is not very helpful for you and assuming that you want to do well at the end of the year, you should start revising and doing practise questions for each section or area of study.
Good luck!

I also suggest just reading reading reading! That way, even though you don't do the questions, you might be able to take the concepts you've read, and utilise them when you approach a question. Mind you, it may or may not work for you, some people seem to learn this quick better than others..
Just read for a start I think, read and reread the chapters you need to and then do a couple of questions!
But as Jeanweasleys said, take more care and effort in planning and try and be disciplined when it comes to finishing work on time and staying up to date (go ahead if you can). I've suggested going to the library to many people as it fixed my procrastination issues! Maybe it's time you tried it too?! :)

If you ever come across a thought of cheating, it means you're unorganized and haven't taken the time properly study for your sac, you're the only one to blame.
I hate the thought of cramming, but at least doing something now (even if it's a little bit), will still benefit you.
Pretty much what others have said, skim read the chapters, do every 2nd or 3rd question, and complete a prac sac.
Kudos to you shadow for making the right choice.
Plus the fact, if you cheat on an exam/sac, you can't really say you completed or even passed the exam. You're only cheating yourself.

Make sure you allow yourself sufficient hours of sleep, it will improve your exam performance

Yup! Don't sacrifice too much sleep for study, and if it's essential, wake up early and study instead of staying up late.

And, prepare yourself for the worst. Seeing as you have not had sufficient study time, try not to be too ambitious. Tell yourself that this is the last time you will ever let yourself down by not studying. Here's a helpful blog that should help you with your problems and life in general. The newsletter is great and the blogger is a really cool guy: http://www.positivityblog.com/

Thanks. I honestly will be satisfied with a pass at this point.
There have been problems that have arisen in my life, teachers have noticed my grades dropping. I just hope I pass. D:
Thanks guys for your helpful tips.
I really need to change my approach to study and resolve my personal problems around after exams. I will be trying to make a drastic effort to change my approach to school in the second semester, and hopefully this will be the last exam I will be cramming for any time soon.

You're already on your way! :)

Just like Mr Keshy said, you're on your way and you still have some time to reform yourself. You'll get there eventually and you can let us know how you do. I too have been suffering from procrastination but I have to keep reminding myself that I'd rather go through uni in one shot than take pathways. Good luck and I'm sure you'll pass.

I understand your point of view, but it is efficient. Even Bill Gates would "choose a lazy person to do a hard job because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it”.
You can revise more in the holidays and go over what you cheated, so you don't have to risk cheating in the exam. I wouldn't cheat in the real VCE exam, I don't have the balls for that, but if I could think of something... maybe that drug from Looper lol

That's true, he said the easy way, not the wrong way.
-
If you cheat the VCE exam then you're confessing to yourself that you're too stupid to be able to learn content at a year 12 level, so I don't know how you'll cope further in life.

In my experience, a person who doesn't cheat but has thoroughly learnt the course and done the prescribed work would do much better than someone who walked into an assessment having done no preparation even if this person was to have a huge bound reference of stuff.
It's about understanding and how to apply your knowledge. Not constant regurgitation of what the textbook says.
BTW teachers aren't stupid highly likely they've either a) noticed or b) will notice sometime soon.
It pisses me of because there are people which actually do put in work and people cheating busts the the curve and makes it harder for people to achieve results they rightly deserve, as the whole VCE is a ranking system from SAC results to ATARs.
If you have trouble keeping up with the demands of VCE than I can't begin to imagine how you would go in a tertiary setting...but that's for a whole other day.

I think you mean Limitless. You're just cheating yourself as far as your movie references go.

Efficiency isn't a justification for doing the wrong thing. If something gets too hard for you, you'll have to deal with it, rather than screw other people over when they don't deserve it.
This pretty much goes for life in general, you should take it to heart.

Questionable. What makes you think that one would be motivated to study or revise over the concepts they have trouble with when in the first place they were driven to cheat? If one has cheated already, what makes you think that this person will not cheat again, assuming that they were not found out? If one cheats then they will cheat again because if they were not found out the first time, the cheater will always have the feeling that they can get away with everything, which is detrimental to their understanding and knowledge. Cheating is never going to help. It's merely a reminder that you weren't good enough to apply your knowledge in the first place.
-
I understand your point of view
There are no different points of view there
There is cheating, which is wrong and screws over other people
And there is not cheating, which is the right thing.
You can do either one, but nothing would ever make the wrong way right. And of course, if you do choose the former you could be caught. Hopefully.

Good News Guys!
Finished both Exams... and I think I did well :D .... enough.
I hope to get 70ish on both. But I was lucky that the concepts I spent more time on were the ones that were tested, and the questions were pretty typical
Thanks for all your lovely support. I should be so greatful and definitely try to avoid being in this dilemma again. Considering I only had like 3 hours sleep last night. I was also cramming like crazy 1 hour before the Psych Exam.
Ugh Im just soo glad its over :D
