Any know how to solve this? all these data is confusing me :P
A swimming team consists of 18 members. Each member performs in at least one of the three events, freestyle (F), backstroke(B) and diving (D). Every diver also races. Eleven of the team swim free style and ten swim backstroke. Two of the team swim backstroke and dive, but do not swim freestyle. Five of them swim free style only, and seven of those who swim backstroke do not dive. Draw a Venn diagram and find/
a. n(D)
b.n(Union of F,D and B)
c. n (F U(intersection) B)
d. n( union of F,B and complement of D)
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Mike

a) 6
b) 18
c) 5
d) 12
Hmm it looks like shit when I just answer it like that
I had to physically draw a Venn diagram myself but I dunno how I could show you what it looks like lol
For these questions, I usually reread them 2-3 times before beginning to even attempt to draw the diagram
