ok so i got a C average in unit 3, and a B average in unit 4, so provided that i smash the exam (we've finished the course and started revision in class), what am i looking at in terms of the study score? I am ranked 11/15 in my sacs.

Provided you smash the exam as in full marks (mind you the most important component of your study score) you could be looking at 45+. Afterall, your SACs scale according to the exam
-
Off-topic but you've already finished? I've only done one unit 4 SAC so far for all of my subjects combined.

What PB said is pretty much correct.
Your performance on your SAC does not affect much, because it scales up/down according to your final exam mark.
e.g: say you got 73% for your actual SAC, and you did extremely well in the exam, then your SAC mark will scale up to: A+(90%+ range )
say you got 73% for your actual SAC, and you done really bad in the exam, then your SAC mark will scale down to something like C.
In conclusion, how well you do in school does not matter much. It is your final exam that matters.
Hope that helps. :)

Huh?
I think there's a common misconception here. From what I know, your sac does scale depending on exam performance, but it might not be dependant on your score.
I'll give an example
Say, on exam day you smash the exams and you but ranked 11/15 your school. Your sac score will be moderated but, to the exam score that matches your ranking. So it could be moderated to someone else's score who's exam score ranks (11/15) .keep in mind this is only your SAC score. 2/3 rds of your score actually comes your actual exam performance.
It could work the other way. Say you are ranked first. Your sac score will be moderated to the top exam score in your school, even if you failed the exams.

Yeah, shadows is right. If you're ranked 11/15, your official SAC score will be dependent on the 11th highest exam score, regardless of who achieves it.

that is correct but the exam is worth 60 per cent. I calculated even if you got d+ for sacs but for the exam you got a high a+ you could still get over 35+ easy
