Hi everyone. I'm doing English Language 3/4 this year, but am not quite sure that my present Cuttings Journal is very useful or relevant. My teacher hasn't given much instruction on how to go about collecting articles, so I'd appreciate some pointers from anyone!
I noticed that in 2011 the English language students started a thread containing links to newspaper articles with examples that would be useful in the exam, so I'm wondering if we could do the same here. It'd be awesome if we could create a repository of good examples that would be useful in essay writing. :)

Basically for my cuttings journal I looked online, the crikey blogs are great because all of the articles on there are relevant to language in some way.

Very interesting. Google "vocal fry" for more-- there are heaps of articles out there about this new trend.
