Title: One Step Education VCE Revision Workshops - just 7 days away!
Post by: Ronald Zhang on September 22, 2013, 01:12:04 pm
We've been hard at work preparing our VCE Revision Workshops, and they're now just a week away!

Our absolutely incredible team of tutors have got an average ATAR of 99.92 and an average study score of 48.7 across the subjects they're running workshops in. They've all just graduated in the past two years and they're all regular and experienced tutors - so they're full of the very best and most relevant advice to make sure you're not just on top of the coursework, but actually know how to make the most of that on the exam. We've got more detailed profiles about each of our tutors here, so have a look there if you're not convinced!

What's really special about our revision program, though, is the format. We were never quite happy with the way that VCE revision lectures were normally run when we were back in year 12 - they just never felt engaging or interactive enough to be the best possible learning experience that they should be. That's why our entire VCE Revision series is run in workshops - that means that all of our sessions are capped to a maximum of 40 people (in fact, some of our workshops for the more detail-focused subjects like Physics and Biology are even smaller), and that rather than 5 hours of someone talking at you, you're an core part of the learning experience. You get to come up to the whiteboard and be a part of solving sample problems, to feel comfortable to ask whenever there's something you're not quite sure about. Our workshops are all about you, and tailoring the learning experience to what you want to get out of it.

Of course, no revision program would be complete without notes to take away at the end of it - and with One Step, you don't just get a copy of the Powerpoint slides with 'Notes' whacked on the front cover. At every single one of our workshops, you'll also get a full copy of our tutors' very own study notes for that subject, so you can study using the very notes that our tutors got their amazing study scores with.

All this, for just $20 for a 2 hour workshop that covers a single unit of the course, or even better, just $35 for a Unit 3 & 4 Package (4 hours for Physics, 4.5 for Methods and Chemistry, and 6 hours for Biology). Or $50 for the full English course, which is split into three 2 hour sessions on each section of the exam. And if you book in a group of 4 or more, you'll get an even better price with our 15% group discount.

The only reason our workshops are so ridiculously cheap is because this is our first year running revision workshops, and whilst our tutors have absolutely incredible reputations individually, One Step as an organisation still isn't very well known. I've been personally going over the programs for each of our workshops with the respective tutors this past week to see how they're looking, and I'll personally vouch for how fantastic they're all going to be.

To find out more about One Step, visit us at our website, or if you'd like more information specifically about our workshops, drop into our workshops microsite here.

Or feel free to post any questions below and I'll be more than happy to answer them! Hope to see you there!

Open disclosure - I'm part of the team at One Step and I'll be personally running two of our workshops, so I'm definitely biased :) But they're definitely going to be amazing, so get booking!
