Has anyone had experiences screwing this over? And how much risk is associated with this? :P

I did it and it worked fine. I think the main thing is not to cut the gold part. And also, make sure its not too big because it can get stuck in your micro sim slot.

I did this with an exacto knife once. It didn't turn out perfectly, it was slightly over sized.
I was able to pushslip it into my S3 sim holder but it was held in by friction, not by the spring. Made it tough to get out.

Do you recommend using an exacto knife or scissors?

Shall try my hardest, thanks :)

Exacto knife. If you're using scissors you can't be as precise. With an exacto knife you can put the sim card on top of the template and roughly cut in the lines of the template. Then just keep going over it until you can snap off the excess plastic.

I did it. I bought a sticker, stuck it on the card and cut around it. Perfect.
