The 2013 Exam Discussion boards are up!
If you feel like seeing exam discussion would be too upsetting, I can customise your profile so that the forum is not visible to you. (And I can reverse it if you change your mind. Please don't change your mind 237849728 times though, I have my own exams to study for)
Please understand that this is a highly stressful time for most students, and so it's even more crucial that we maintain a supportive and kind environment. As such, there will be a no-tolerance policy:
Any unnecessarily insulting/derogatory/mean etc. posts will be removed and you can be banned for any period of time ranging from 1 day, to the entire exam period, to the rest of the year (i.e. both the exam and results periods). This will be at the moderator's discretion.
You can appeal bans by writing to [email protected].
Good luck! Don't stress too much; it's only VCE and in a couple of months it will become largely irrelevant to your life. It's not the end of the world!

My hammer; it waits.

I was wondering what was taking up so much space at the top of the forum when I opened the site.

^ oooh this is tempting, highly considering it :p.
I feel seeing exam discussion straight after doing an exam would be so stressful, and I'd probably get so annoyed if I realise I've made mistakes (especially in between exams), but I think it'd be fun to look through these boards after the 16th =)

If it's annoying you with how much space it's taking up, you can click the little minus button to collapse it :)

Why is the main AN Website down? It says that the webpage is unable to connect. Was there a clash with the new Forums made for 2013 Exam Discussion?
Sorry if this has already been mentioned.

The website is functional, but I know what you mean. If you type vcenotes.com you'll be able to use the forums as normal, but atarnotes.com is not working for me (just the link though, the site itself is fine?)

Ah yep...Fair enough. vcenotes.com works for me. :) Very strange though that every other website link of AN works, except for atarnotes.com
I was almost about to panic because I have it saved as atarnotes.com in my bookmarks. LOL! All good though! :)
HAHA! Must be a glitch or something. :p

Coincidently, the main website was working this morning, before those new forum categories were put up. :P

The problem was SMF, but it wasn't Nina... For once. :p

No tolerance policy on being mean to ninwa

No tolerance policy? Does that mean we ARE allowed to? HAHA! Just joking. :)

This is probably the stupidest question ever, but the "exam discussion" board is for after exams right?
I was so tempted to start a topic, but then no one else has so no need to be the cretin of atarnotes :P

Yeah, it's for discussing the exam after you've sat it.

Thats actually a good question, not a stupid one. I wasn't sure about them either.
I assumed it was for discussion AFTER the Exam has finished, but why would we need a whole set of forum categories for that? Why not just have a Thread to discuss it? ???
May be we're both missing something here. :P
EDIT: Thanks Lasercookie. :)

They're there to keep the other subject boards fairly need post-exams (if you look back, they're kinda cluttered with "how did you find the exam" or "what did you get for this question" threads).
Having one thread is what would be the easiest to do, but logic an precedent tells us that we'd end up with plenty of the above ones anyway :)

Ahh okay, pretty true. That makes a lot more sense. :P

I think the main reason is that some people might want to zone out exam discussion, so this separates the forums neatly. Also there'll be multiple threads that pop up about the exam, whether that be jokes, proposed exam solutions, scanned copies of the exam (some of which would end up stickied) etc. It also makes archiving all that discussion once everything's done easier too.
