Title: What to do now..?
Post by: lovatic on October 29, 2013, 04:56:47 pm
I am feeling super tired right now and I am in no condition to be writing any practice essays but I don't want to just sleep or do absolutely nothing for the next few hours considering the English exam is tomorrow  :-\
Should I just read summary notes etc?

The best thing to do now is to relax and gather your strength for tomorrow! The most that you should be doing right now is some light reading and thinking about your texts.

Good luck for tomorrow!!

That's what I'm doing :) Really, you want to be fresh for tomorrow, so writing further would be a disservice anyway. Just read through notes, high-scoring essays, key areas of your texts and make sure to leave some time to relax!

Briefly look over your notes for Text Response and your piece for Context. Other than that, everyone should start relaxing now. If you keep studying past 6 pm, you will feel tired and possibly not finish your exam tomorrow.

Study for a bit longer everyone, and then just chillax. :P

I've stopped studying for the Exam just before. :)

I don't think you should be writing essays right now! Just thinking of ideas for contexts.. reading notes.. memorising quotes is really beneficial.

What does light reading require?

What does light reading require?

Just going over your notes and major areas of your texts; checking any high-quality past essays you've written for ideas, and identifying symbolism, themes, tones etc. in the texts.

I think most people here on ATARNotes are academically raring to go for the exam. It's probably the mindset that may need a little more work. Take it easy, relax, and find a way to boost your confidence. ;)
