Title: Principles - beneficence, justice, integrity etc???

do we need to be familiar with these terms?
my teacher only introduced them within the last few weeks of school and im not sure if they are explicitly mentioned in the study design
???

yes you do, but if you're gonna know one the most id say beneificience in case you get a phobia related extended response like last year where you'd talk about the patient having to have withdrawal rights, yet understanding that the treatment will beneifit them, and outweigh the discomfort they experience! :)

Yeah I was in the same situation as you. I've come across quite a few MC questions with all these as the options.

Just remember this:

Beneficence: researcher responsible for maximising benefits of experiment and minimising potential risks of harm to the participants.

Integrity: researchers must be committed to following ethical principles

Justice: promotes fair distribution of benefits and convenience within the population

respect for persons: literally as it sounds; respecting the rights, customs etc of the participants
