Title: Been trying to work this out for ages, need help
Post by: Negativeau on November 06, 2013, 01:51:25 pm
H(x) = Asin(n(pi) x) + B
maximum = (0.75,4)
minimum= (2.25, 1)

find A,n,B

tried working this out on the cas a few ways already. I know i need 3 equations that is 2 equations from the original and 1 derivative however doesn't seem to work on the CAS.

Maximum value is 4 and minimum is 1. Median is 2.5 which is denoted by B the amplitude (A) is 1.5 and then you can some in values for n in case to solve. Hope it helps!   ;D
