Post by: Insane_Emm on November 02, 2007, 05:33:05 pm
is anyone else doing John Donne on the exam??
i have to pick between Donne, Andrew McGahans "The White Earth" and Sophocles "Antigone" but there is no way in hell am i doing "The White Earth"... i feel the views and values arent represented as obviously as they are in the other two.

John Donne? You mean, Mr Crazy Erotic 16th Century Weirdo Poet?

:) I'm sure you know what I mean.

Yeah, lucky me, I'm doing Donne. It's actually really difficult. I love the divine poetry though.

I'm studying Donne this year, and I love it. He's great. I've done quite well on my SAC on him, so I plan on doing an exam piece on him.

Anybody else studying him currently?

I hate Donne.
More than anything.  So glad we don't have to do a SAC on him.
