Title: How did everyone find the Chinese exam?

I thought it was hard. I was short for time, although the essay topics were simple.

Yeah, me too! 2 hours and 15 min is not enough! What did you choose for your essay?
And there were quite a few idioms in the translation which I did not understand.

In my opinion, compared to previous years, this year's exam was somewhat harder.

there were no idioms in translation? i found it ok, there were a few tricks. most people in my school coming out of the exam said it was really easy, and my school isn't good at chinese lol...

Yeah there was. I think it was in the first translation. It was 四国..... I had no idea what it was

oh that part, it meant that China is one of the four ancient civilisations, i don't think it was an idiom 文明古国

i thought that there were heaps of tricks! i did everything really slowly because i didnt want to make mistakes, and ended up having to rush translation and my essay.

lol ppl sitting next to me were all asking for more writing paper and i was still writing my first paragraph. but the word limit is 250-300 for sla so im guessing they get marks taken off for that. the first translation was really hard. 古代史 近代史 现代史 and stuff. i couldnt find it in my dictionary.
oh well, at least its over. does anyone know when we get to know the results? 3 weeks is it?
