Title: Results received by our schools :O
Post by: auds on January 05, 2014, 06:18:12 pm
What do schools receive in terms of their students' results? What I mean is, do they find out students' marks for end-of-year exams ? Or do they just find out, like the rest of us do, what ss their students got ?? :O

My Bio teacher got the letter grades of the students in her class, the study scores and the class average. Other than that, I'm not too sure what else they got.

I don't think she got the actual exam marks for each student, when I asked she said if I wanted to know, I should request a statement of marks. She told me the 'average study score' for the class though.

EDIT: wait, actually she did get the class average scores for the exam as well.

Not sure if it's my school's policy,
but only the principals get the ATAR/study scores of everyone.

For the other teachers, they only get the relevant subject's study scores of the students in their class.

Schools get access to a pretty detailed database of their students result which allows them to determine average grades etc. for different genders/ages etc.
