Post by: Stick on January 13, 2014, 03:18:28 pm: VTAC offers are right around the corner and I'm certain that this will be a fairly big day for everyone. We're all in different positions right now - some may be able to rest easy knowing that they are likely to have comfortable exceeded the clearly-in for their university course; for others this Friday may be a painful reminder of the disappointment they experienced on VCE results day and know deep down that they are unlikely to attain their top preference; and for those who are still hanging in the balance, the day will be just as nerve-wracking as the 16th of December as they wonder if their hard work was enough in order to get to where they'd like. Regardless of which group you belong to, remember that your Round 1 VTAC offer marks the beginning of the rest of your life - it's time to move on from your results and whatever happened during VCE last year and start making your first tentative steps to get to where you want to in the future.

I hope that everyone receives the offer that they'd like. Once again, congratulations, VCE Class of 2013, and good luck with the new, exciting and challenging journey that now lies ahead of you. :)

Post by: CH3ezEC4KE on January 13, 2014, 04:18:32 pm: Also for those of you who don't quite make it into your dream course, there are other ways to get in whether that be second round offers, transfers etc. Life is long and getting into that one course doesn't determine your future and it not always the beginning of the rest of your life. Do what you love and are passionate about, money isn't everything. (But it is so damn good)
