Title: First Round Offers...
Post by: adrihepburn on January 14, 2014, 12:56:55 pm
Is it true that you are supposed to accept your first round offer even if it's not the one you wanted the most? My first preference was at 92.45, and second was 91.45 and I kind of messed up my ATAR and got an 88.70, I've applied for SEAS and underrepresentation in school, but I still don't know how good my chances are... I have a feeling I'll get my third offer at 88.20, which i probably won't be so happy about... I think this wait is a lot more anxiety provoking than December the 16th..

Always accept every offer you get. 2nd round offers etc. Would still come regardless of accepting a first round offer.

Yes you should always accept your first offer because not always do people get second offers. But don't worry once you accept your first offer you can always apply for the other courses on your preference list through a negotiated offer :)
