Title: Help I didn't do Accounting U1 & 2
Post by: Franky3121 on January 20, 2014, 05:16:32 pm
I didn't do Accounting Units 1 & 2 in year 11, I was told in the last weeks of school that I one of my subjects were in the block as another class, this made me mad. I enjoyed that other class. Anyways I had a choice Health and HD, Food Technology, I didn't like those subjects and they wouldn't help me in the future.

So i picked Accounting. Now I'm in a dilema, this will ultimatley be my toughest subject cause i have no knowledge.

Is it Hard?
Should I be doing something about it right now?
What do I need to prepare.

HELP ME PLZZZ

unfortunately it is quite hard for 1/2, but in saying that its not impossible. You should really consolidate i think it was chapters 1- 3 which will give you the basics, and then off the top of my head things in chapter 10-12. This should be the fundamentals, otherwise shoot your teacher a email :) Best of luck

A majority of what you learn in 3/4 is quite different from 1/2, but are related to topics in 1/2. The 3/4 course is based around ledgers whereas 1/2 is around recording and reporting.
In unit 3/4 you can easily pick up 1/2 theory with enough practice and students will most likely relearn 1/2 within the 3/4 course

I'm in the same boat as you.

Currently I'm putting a lot of effort into Accounting to catch up to the other kids in the class who have completed unit 1 and 2. Just know your definitions and it should help.
