Title: Anyone going to the Career Seminars?
Post by: vashappenin on February 20, 2014, 03:59:46 pm
Hi guys,
So I got an email about this event on the 28th called 'Career Seminars - Summer Intensive Program'.. I was just wondering if anyone's going along? It covers Job search strategies, Cover letters: how to find the right words, Resumes that get noticed, Interviews: what to say and how to say it, etc. and I think that it'd be really useful for me, as I am yet to become employed and this would really help me but idk, just have to wait and see.

I've noticed a lot of "no work experience, want job, help" threads lately, so thanks heaps for posting this.
It's great to see you're actively taking steps to improve your career prospects - good luck for when you start applying :)

Yeah I am. I'm going to most seminars/workshops things just because I haven't been doing anything lately and want to just spend some time outside home.
