Title: Engineering 2014
Post by: SteliosV on February 21, 2014, 03:07:39 pm
Hi all,

Just wondering who here is doing Engineering/Commerce @ Monash Clayton Campus.

Also from past 1st year students (of this course), does anyone know what textbooks I need for the following subjects:

ACC1000: Principles of accounting and finance
BTC1110: Business law
ENG1010: Process systems analysis
ENG1091: Mathematics for engineering

Thanks :D

Simply speaking, you would need the textbook for all commerce subjects, and none for all engineering subjects. However that obviously depends on your studying technique.

Great! :)
Btw I recommend you buy the textbook for ENG1010. Apparently it's a hard subject. My friend failed it despite his ~70% WAM

Won't recommend you buying a book for that. There's plenty of resources for ENG1010 in the library. And yes it's one of the harder units and definitely have a higher fail rate but the Assignments (Case Study) tends to be very similar to previous years so just make some friends with seniors.

Yeah that was my own opinion..I'd have bought the textbook if I had seen such rate of failure :)
