Title: Timetable clashes!! Help?!
Post by: idontknow7 on March 06, 2014, 08:49:09 pm
Hey guys,

So, I'm doing a BoA and today I had a freak out crisis and decided to drop CWRI10001 and do Russian 1 (RUSS10001) instead. However, now I have several extremely annoying clashes (I attached my new timetable...). I'm not too worried about missing the MULT10015 lectures as they're all uploaded on the LMS so I can catch up on them (obviously it's not ideal, but there's not really anything I can do) and I already had one clash with them even before I decided to do Russian.

But what I am worried about is the clashes with my Russian and Italian seminars on Tuesdays, and my Italian tutorial and Russian seminar on Wednesdays. Has anyone done either of these subjects and if so, how important are the seminars? I don't think they have an attendance hurdle but I'm not 100% sure and I wouldn't want to be missing most of the seminars for either subject. I know it's 75% for the tutes so on the Wednesday I would have to skip the Russian seminar and go to my Italian tute. But another problem is that apparently the Tuesday morning Italian seminar is important and is the "main" class for the week. But surely I can't skip both of the Russian seminars.

This is doing my head in. Any ideas? Advice? Or should I just give up on the idea of doing Russian and choose something else or stick with Creative Writing (maybe this would be the best idea, as classes have already started...urgh!).

Thanks so much for any help! D:

Have you consulted with the student centre yet? I think you'd be able to find it more useful to talk with someone at school.
