Title: club committee member

Hi I'm a first year student and was thinking about applying to be a committee member for some clubs (course related ones). I was just wondering what its like, how much work is involved, how much time it consumes, etc...
So if anyone's a committee member or knows someone who is, help me out please :)

Depending on the club and position, it could range from a lot of work to a little. If you find that you're already going to the clubs events and hanging out with club/committee members, it probably won't take up more time than you already spend on the club.
