What letter marks should you get for each GA to get a 45 for business management , a 40 for accounting , a 40 for further and maybe a 35-38 for english?
Also please let me know if the A+ required is very high , high , medium or low etc etc.
In terms of cohort for business management it's definitely strong , everyone's almost got a pretty good average but there's still those high A+ people (2 of them in my class).
For Accounting it's pretty balanced , we haven't had a sac yet so I wouldn't know how strong the cohort is currently.
Maths has some really good people and some aren't as great since some of the people doing methods are also doing further ( so they're the ones to most likely have higher rankings.)
English average for recent SACS and exams last year is about C+ to B - based on what I heard from people and my friends.

The pre-moderated marks your cohort gets in internal assessment has *little* to do with your cohort's strength. It's dependent on their performance on the end of year exam. Honestly, looking at quppa.net it looks like your cohort is weak in all of those subjects. If I were you I'd be aiming to be at the top of the school in BM and Accounting, and near the top of the class for Further and English.
If you want to know what percentage of students are assigned certain grades by VCAA's standards, Google "vcaa grade distributions".
If you don't get ranked 1 but ranked 2-3 is a weak cohort, is 40+ manageable, and ace the exam.

For sure.

I was ranked 5th/6th in a weak cohort and scored 56/60 on the English exam.

Do you know if those people who were ranked above you also had a higher exam mark? Did you also crack the 40's?

Only one person in the cohort had a higher exam mark. I cracked the forties.

Grats! I'd love to definitely get as high as that. Was the exam last year out of 30? 10 marks for creating/presenting , 10 for reading/responding and 10 marks for language analysis?

For BusMan as it's considered a relatively easy subject, your looking at A+ sac marks and an A+ on the exam with little marks being lost for a SS of 45
