Title: Applying for JMSS in 2014
Post by: cg006927 on April 03, 2014, 09:59:16 pm
I'm applying for JMSS this year as a year 10 student next year.
I'm not sure where to find any good websites to learn trigonometry and not sure how to prepare for the science test since science is such a broad topic.

Try this, it worked for me (Definitely do a few questions to warm you up as well though):

Try this, its good, kinda fun and really intrigues you to learn, my opinion  ;)

1st this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFO3wGzAowA
then this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlZe8y5rK6Y

It will take over an hour to watch these, but they really do help! Honestly, there will only be like 3 questions max on trig, but if you are good with everything else, go for it  ;)

are we going to be handed calculators at the exam, because it's not possible to do trigonometry without a scientific calculator.

I'm pretty sure that they will ask for the formula like if its sin-1(1/2) or sin86..................
No chance of a calculator.........
