Hey guys!
I know this may sound like another pointless post but I guess I'm just looking for motivation before heading into term 2. In contrast to last year, I feel like I've lost that passion to do my best and thus term 1 has not produced the results I have hoped for.
My sac marks so far have been :
English (26/30 =87%)
Business Management (80%)
Biology (29/30 and 29/30 =96%)
Ok I lied, although I could have done better, they are not that bad of scores.
It's only my other subjects that have made me quite anxious:
Methods (22/35= 62%)
Chemistry (78% for the two sacs)
I used to be getting above average results for both in my previous year however I guess the pressure of year 12 has hit me.
Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to your replies! ;D
P.s: I also would like to hear from (past)/(current) students who had a bad start to one of their subjects and made a massive turn around to get the results they wished for! Thanks!

Don't worry - no matter how badly you do in your SACs, you can turn it around in your exam. I did year 12 last year, and my two favourite examples of my study scores would have to be music and methods.
In music, I got full marks for ALL of my SACs, minus one. I had an easy A+ for GA1 and GA2 - but I fucked up in the exam, and I ended up with a study score of 25.
In methods, though, I had trouble in a few SACs, and didn't get as high as I would've liked. In fact, when the awards came round for top of classes, my school assumed I wouldn't do that well and three other students got the top awards. Then, I did brilliant in the exam, and got 38 - second highest study score in the whole school.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about a lousy start - my start looked about the same as your's, and then I took a 3 week holiday in the middle of the year, and still walked out with an ATAR of 93. As long as you don't drop your marks (even if you do, don't stress too much) and do well on the end of year exam, you've got nothing to worry about.

Ah I see. That's a relief! Thanks for the insight dude! Appreciate it :D

In my 3/4 last year I got 70% for my first two SACs.
I worked with my teacher a lot more after those results, worked really hard and smart for the rest of the year and studied like crazy for the exam and got a 44.
So there's always ways to improve! Don't lose hope :)

On the whole turn-it-around-in-the-exam thing. I've heard of someone who was rank 12 in lit but got a 50 after smashing the exam. Not saying to ignore SACs but just know that it's never to late to do well if you try.

Ahh, I see. I'm definitely motivated now. Thanks for that!
