Title: External evidence showing conflict as a result of perseverance and resilience?

So I'm writing a context essay on the following prompt: "Perseverance and Resilience are born from conflict". I've decided to write an expository essay and come at it from all angles, so as one of points I've decided to say that sometimes perseverance and resilience are a cause of conflict, rather than a consequence.

I have stated that this can be seen in almost any war, rebellion or revolution... well because, obviously rebelling or persisting in war will cause conflict... but the problem is, I know almost nothing about history... Does anyone know any specific examples in wars/rebellions/revolutions or really any other external conflict that shows this?\

The Russian revolution- the tsar completely ignored the cries of peasants and in return resulted in the march to the tsars palace in Petrograd on January 22nd 1905. Here workers and peasants protested for basic human and workers rights.

You can use WW2 as an example as hitler persisted to have the German aryan race superior then everyone else. Ultimately the allies closed hurler and the nazi party in Berlin resulting in hurlers suicide.
