Hey guys,
I'm in Year 10 and aiming to get a 95+ ATAR. I want to get into Melbourne University and undertake the 'Bachelors of Commerce" course and I need that score to be accepted. The problem is .... Math Methods is a prerequisite and I am not good at math. This year I am doing Further mathematics and I average a B. However, I do very well in English and Science getting A to A+ in both subjects. What do you think I should do? What subjects should I do in VCE that would result in me getting the highest ATAR possible? e.g. Biology, english, chemistry, math methods, physics. Is it possible to achieve an ATAR of 95+ if i receive a low study score for methods, just say 25.
Thanks

Aside from Methods, which you need for your course, I suggest doing the subjects about which you are most passionate. Don't concern yourself with scaling or anything like that; if you like the subject, you are more likely to do well in it, and scaling will often be rendered irrelevant.
However, as above, try to enjoy Year 10. :)
Best of luck!
