Title: Carotid Occlusions help!

Can someone please breifly explain to me the cardiovascular effects of unilateral and bilateral carotid occlusion?

 in terms of TPR, MAP and HR, in the event of a unilateral carotid occlusion, would they all be affected in the same way as if it was a bilateral carotid occlusion but to a lesser extent?

I'm guessing this was for the last prac write up for research phys, so it's probably a bit late now :P But yeah, that's what I understood it to be :)
