Well, only 28 hours till we get into the exam hall. The people from AN I know that are doing the exam are Novashock, lolface, Eyes, and me. I hope for all our sakes we get into our first preferences! :)

Haha good luck to everyone that's trying out and remember it's not the end of the world if you don't get in! It's also pretty cold and raining tomorrow so wear something warm too.. if you're getting there early then sit in the museum and wait although a lot of people will be in there so it'll be jammed packed LOL
And funnily enough I'll be there tomorrow supporting my younger sibling who's also trying out albeit will probably not get in since they don't want to go to any of the schools listed there (Door 3 for me :3)

Don't be overwhelmed by the amount of people, focus on yourself, before tests, take 3 deep breaths

Lol, but if your coming early, we might get to see each other. Do you think your prepared? I don't think so, but every time I want to study, I think otherwise... Also, if over 5% of my school's year 8's attend, and we all get just above average, will the highest get in? Cause I was thinking, I can get higher than 80% (probably) will I get in?

Seat 2900 something FTW :). Not sure if Pi was being serious but I'll do it for the lolz 8). Also I'm pretty prepared and confident cause I tries a practise test so that I knew that I was still smart and I finished on the 30 minute mark but got 4 wrong. Like a boss :P

My sister said there is a quota for how many private school kids get in? Is that true? 8 girls from my year level are tried out, and I think I might surpass them scoring wise.

There is no quota for how many private school people get in. It's quota on the maximum number of students from each particular school, so it applies equally to public school students too

There's no specific quota on the number of private school kids getting in however there is the 3% rule which is in effect for all schools that have people applying. Say one school has a year level cohort of 250 therefore the max number of kids MHS/Mac.Rob can accept from that school is 7.5 (or 7-8 in this case). That doesn't mean they will accept up to the number but it's the maximum amount.
