What's the name of the persuasive technique when an author agrees with a quote through the means of a short, terse sentence?
E.g.
He has a point.

I'm not sure if there is an exact name for it, but you could comment on the author's pithy tone, or the fact that it's an oversimplification of the issue.
If it's preceded by a length paragraph or explanatory quote you can definitely comment on the abrupt shift too.
