Title: NS-grade for LAW3301
Post by: SLR7 on July 14, 2014, 11:58:12 am
Has anyone ever gotten an NS-grade for their law units?

Is there something I should know that can help me get a P from the supplementary exam?

I would also like to confirm that I do not need to apply for a supplementary exam and that the exam is on 11-15 Aug (link).

Also, how does it work?

I would assume that you don't need to do anything special for the supp - I expect the requirements for a pass would be the same as for any other law exam.

You do not apply for a supplementary exam or assessment task (with the exception of Arts units). If applicable, your faculty will offer it to you. If offered a supplementary exam or assessment, your unit grade will display NS (supplementary assessment granted) in WES.

So I guess you wouldn't need to apply since you have the NS.

Dunno how informative this is but have a read anyway

Best of luck!

Thanks ninwa!

I want to know how to prepare for the supplementary exam though, e.g. what will be tested, what's the format, etc. Anyone knows?

I'm not sure I understand your question. A supp exam is not different and you would prepare for it the same way as you would for any other law exam.

So I should treat it as a regular paper that could come out in normal exams?

I guess so? Ask your lecturer, I've never done a supp before
