Hi guys, lately i've been practising for the upcoming AMC Juniors test, in the last 2 weeks i've already done 3 tests and have scored 73/135, 98/135, and 95/135, any idea what percents these would get in the junior division?
Also got any tips on how to do well in the test?
Thanks,

Not sure why I remember this, but when I did the AMC in 2007 (I was in Year 8, Junior Division), the cutoff for Prize was 97 (out of a total of 135).
You're doing pretty damned well. A 73 would net a high D or a HD, 95-98 is definitely HD, possibly a Prize.
Do lots of maths problems - the AMT has various books on the AMC.

Update: i took another mock test and scored 97/135, bringing my average overall to 90.75, although i expect my result in the real test to be higher because in my first attempt at a mock test i was getting a feel for how the test works :)

I got three prizes in this back in the day, I'd say you've done more prep than 99% of people sitting this haha, best of luck :)

took the test - i feel i did okay :) although i mucked up Q.30, never mind.
P.S. 38 people in my school took the test today and i was the only one who was still going at the end, the others had all given up lol :)
