Hi, now that we are getting closer and closer to the exams I have been wondering if it is possible for to get at least a 35 on methods.
So my SAC average so far sits at approx 80%
There is one more SAC which will be an analysis task on probability.
So, considering my marks so far and assuming I do well on my exams as I have been slacking a lot lately is it still possible to get a 35+ raw score?
I am in year 11 and doing two year 12 subjects
Thank you in advance! :)

You'll be fine, just keep it up and stress less. Stress begets low marks.

Hi, now that we are getting closer and closer to the exams I have been wondering if it is possible for to get at least a 35 on methods.
So far these are my SAC scores: 93% on Sac 1 74% on Sac 2 71% on the Application Task and 72% on the Analysis Task.
So my SAC average so far sits at 77.5%

Don't worry about SAC marks just do your best in exams and you will be find.
Think of it this way, SACS count for 34% of the study score. Exam 2 counts for 33% of the study score. One days exam is worth almost as much as a hole years test. I think if your SACS are hard, then you will definatly be able to get over 35 raw.
Im doing Math Methods in year 11 too :)

Thank you, you've really boosted my confidence :D
But does it matter if my rank is probably somewhere in the middle of my class?
-
If it's a strong cohort, that shouldn't matter. However, if they're as strong as the average cohort, this does indicate you'll get ~30 for a study score. As I said, just keep up that work, try your best, and you should be fine. At the end of the day, a 30 instead of a 35 shouldn't lock you out of any courses, so don't stress about that.

But my teacher has been giving very easy SACS, theres about 6 people with A+ averages does this mean anything?
-
There were more than that with an A+ average when I did it, second highest score was 38 (which quite a few people got, actually). If you think they're good and they work hard, regardless of how easy the SACs are, you should be fine.

Ohh alright thanks! You've really helped me, I was stressing a lot before now I can finally relax! :D
