Title: Questions about study scores?
Post by: ydbe on August 10, 2014, 04:51:38 pm
Whenever I see this forum there is talk about rank 1 with respect to study scores and others. What is this elusive rank thing?
May I also ask what marks I would need to get around 45 in accounting given that my average sac score in Unit 3 is 90%. And in the first of my four unit 4 sacs (Stock & NRV) i got 91%. Will it be relatively easy to get 45 or do I need to deprive my unit 1&2 subjects any further.
Cheers for the help ;)

The rank is where you sit amongst your peers at school. Do you have the highest SAC mark? Are a few students beating you in SACs? At the end of the day, your SACs WILL get scaled, so it's important to be as high as possible in your cohort.

In terms of getting a 45, this means that you must be in the top 2% of the state. Looking at the grades for last year's exam, 8% of the students got an A+ for their accounting exam, and a shit-ton more got an A+ for their SACs. So, you're going to wanting to be looking for a high A+ in your exam to get that 45. Don't let this discourage you, though, because a 45 is incredibly hard to achieve, and looking at those marks, I reckon you'll get a brilliant score regardless with continued work. :)
