Title: are stomata's and how they function on study design
Post by: skybluemaniac on September 24, 2014, 10:18:56 pm
Hi all,

Been through the study design and couldn't find stomata's anywhere in unit 3...but is it still examinable if it's in unit 2?

This is because I'm doing a past paper and it wanted me to sequence events such as potassium and sodium entering/exiting in the process of the stomata opening and closing and got really confused.

Thanks in advance :)

Unit 1 and 2 are presumed knowledge that you should have and VCAA expects that. Whether they are examined or not, I don't think explicitly however it may pop up in regards to plant hormones (this year)

I really really doubt they will examine it, 1/2 has plenty of stuff irrelevant to 3/4 like all that ecosystems shit. I wouldn't really worry about it, though I can't say anything with 100% certainty
