Title: Question about other students in the cohort?
Post by: shinymeowstic on October 29, 2014, 06:03:25 pm
a large chunk of the students in my english exam didn't show up (and some had already LEFT the school during the year), and had their papers just sitting there. Will this effect the rest of the cohort in any way?

and I was wondering if many people take their exams outside of school grounds? At my school there was an electric saw going off during the english exam and it made me very frustrated so I was wondering if anyone else has similar issues with noise at exams?

It's actually better that students didn't sit the exam than sitting it and writing one sentence. They will get an UG for the English exam, which is better for you than them getting an E or D.

In terms of noise, this was also an issue for my school. We have construction works going on at the moment and I thought they would have stopped for our exams. But they didn't. Chainsaws going, cranes moving, loud crashing noises. But it's been going on for ages, so I'm used to it and I just blocked it out.
