Hi there!

To study effectively and efficiently as Eng Lang (or any subject for that matter), I'd first advise something you enjoy in the subject. When I'm tutoring, I always firstly recommend this to students. The reason is that finding something you enjoy will make studying so much easier! For example, I personally love writing, and so I weaved this enjoyment of writing into my essays! I also have a natural fascination with languages so that helped too. What do you currently enjoy about English Language?

Secondly, I'd recommend that after every unit, you compile a list of notes for each unit and AOS. This way, you can keep a record of what you're learning and this will help for revision come the end of year exams.

Lastly, I'd recommend you read more. Yes, read study guides, 'the green book', A+ essays, and example articles to help build you knowledge and fluidity in writing. I found that the simple act of reading more actually increases your grades, and spelling too!

I hope this helps :)
