Hope you're all happy with your results, guys :)
-
Did see this, have a mini freak-out, and rush to WES to see my results...
But I checked the roof and gullible is not written there!

But did you check the dictionary? It's definitely not there!

Really? It's written in mine! Maybe yours has a misprint...

Ha ha, aww... sorry, that wasn't my intention.

Schrödinger's cat?
asactly
right now I have both HD'd and N'd every single unit.

I'll be testing the theory! Unfortunately, lost my 4.0 this semester - drat! Not even checking results 'cause that's all I need to know (I ain't even mad tho, university is becoming increasingly meaningless as time moves on and I inch closer to the end of my degree).
-
Do results come out at the same time? Or are some released early?
Good luck guys =]]

All released at the same time!
cheers bruv

I am so nervous. This wait is killing me!

I am so nervous. This wait is killing me!
This is me right now. Like, I don't think I slept until 5 last night... (but that could've been because I'm currently marathoning bad anime lol)
-
Wait, when are they released? The 15th?
-
Nah - ours get released tomorrow "by noon" (to quote WES).
Ha ha, aww... sorry, that wasn't my intention.
Hahah, is okay. I didn't actually think they were there, a little part of me just hoped. ;P

Oh. Christ. Alrights guys. It's been swell, I've learnt a lot, laughed a lot, loved a lot, and now it's time for me to leave. I'm out. Forever. Goodbye, ATAR Notes.

I don't remember how much by, but they were definitely released earlier last semester.
It might have been the night before? or maybe just the morning of.

They were definitely available the night before last semester. It was about 5/6pm. I remember because it was right before my mum's birthday dinner and I was mad the whole night ...
-
Someone on stalkerspace claims to already have results.
Probably a troll but hey, if any of you are that eager and want to check. :P I may or may not have run to WES...

Good luck to everyone! Whether it's your first time receiving results, or you're a veteran of n semesters (for all sufficiently large n), I hope that you all find something to be proud of!
I'm sure that we've all been through those times when work piled up and it seemed that nothing short of a miracle would be enough for us to survive. I'd like to take this opportunity to say, if things haven't gone quite the way you have wanted, please, PLEASE, talk to people. Whether it be somebody in your close friends or family, somebody here, the course advice people at uni or a counsellor, please know that there are always people willing to listen to you and help you. I definitely would not have made it through this semester without the support of the people around me, and if anyone else is feeling this way, you're definitely not alone.
On another note, remember that no matter what happens, we still have the vastly superior results release system compared to UoM :P. Also, if anyone has a good system of navigating Monash with its new 'street name' ""system"" (yes, double double inverted quotation marks are necessary here), I'd like to know.
Once again, good luck to everyone, and I look forward to seeing all your results!

WES has opened with results, guys!
Ahhh, too scared to look. .__.
-
WAM goes up.
GPA goes down.
Fuck this shit.
Edit: (Was just kidding, trying to make a joke out of counterintuitive result platforms. I'm happy with my results, hope everyone else did crazy well!
-
Retracting mopiness because I know everyone on AN will do great and I don't want anybody feeling guilty for celebrating. I have some great units planned for next semester anyway, I'll enjoy the Arts ride while it lasts tyvm. Good job all!
-
I shouldn't have looked, my night's ruined.
Pro: dat consistency, all units within 3 marks of each other.
Con: 75.3 WAM, looks like law will have to wait a bit.
From what I've heard, 75.3 still gives you a bit of a chance! (from Ned Nerb and nina, I mean. I know next to nothing about it...)
AND HOLY CRAP AM I OVER THE MOON RIGHT NOW. That scaling on probability! (also, three of my units count up/down again like last semester, funnily enough. Too bad stats ruined that...)

Don't worry man. Your aforementioned WAM still gives you a competitive chance - just not a guarantee :). Congratulations nonetheless on finishing your first year of uni!
And that goes to everyone getting their second set of results today - well done on making it through. Most people who quit uni do it in their first year, so regardless of your marks, today's an achievement in and of itself. If you're unhappy with your marks, then move on to bigger and better habits and smash results next year. If you ARE happy, then you go, you. You go.
Well done, Euler!!
-
Wow. Checked WES. No comment. Have a great holiday everyone! :D

ASP2062 INTRODUCTION TO ASTROPHYSICS 89 HD
MTH2032 DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH MODELLING 83 HD
MTH2132 THE NATURE AND BEAUTY OF MATHEMATICS 80 HD
PHS2022 PHYSICS: ELECTROMAGNETISM, LIGHT AND ENTROPY 71 D
Bit disappointed with physics but the two exams where the worst and I would have at least liked one 90. But still content and now onto the last year of my degree!
-
ACC1000 - 82 HD
ECC1000 - 77 D
MGC1010 - 85 HD
ETC1000 - 67 C

And now that dinner is eaten, I have the time to come on here and post results:
2014 CHM1052 1 CHEMISTRY II ADVANCED 2 6 81 HD
2014 MTH2010 2 MULTIVARIABLE CALCULUS 2 6 80 HD
2014 MTH2222 2 MATHEMATICS OF UNCERTAINTY 2 6 82 HD
2014 MTH2232 2 MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS 2 6 90 HD
The best part about this is with that 81 for chem, I am more than qualified to do a second year research project!! n.n Plus I've got "low" scores (as opposed to last semester's "high" scores), so now the GPA looks better than the WAM. :P I feel like the WAM/GPA battle is going to get very interesting over the next few years...

Thanks! Yeah physics was the worst, most of my friends where in the 50-70 range so I really can't complain.
And congrats on your amazing results! that 4 HD lyf
-
Ahhh psy, you suck. :< Chris should've snuck our results to us too, lel. (and good job!! Absolutely smashed it, and after that exam, too)
Thanks Louise and Ned! Needless to say, I'm absolutely stoked, hahah. Sooooo much better than last semester. :') (and reckon I should shut up soon because I feel like I'm talking too much in here, hahah. n.n; I send good jobs to everybody who loves their marks, and an it's okay you'll smash it next time to those who don't like their marks~)
-
Congratulations to everyone, those are some seriously awesome results! Thus ends my science degree. It's been a wonderful three years. I've met lots of great people on the way (lecturers, students and others), and I'm genuinely very happy with the education I received at Monash.
