What kind of qualifications would a person have to be eligible to do both SL of any language and EAL at the same time?

When I was in Year 12, a girl in my year level did EAL (it's called ESL back in 2012), Korean SL and Japanese SL... for real.

As long as you fulfill the requirements for each SL language and EAL/ESL, sure

Damn. What was her first language? Or has she been juggling with these three languages all her life?

I've heard of some people doing Chinese SLA and EAL/ESL.
But languages like Korean and Japanese don't have an SLA, only SL although some students doing SL would technically qualify as an SLA student if their language had SLA. If they also qualify for EAL (which several 'SLA' kids can), then they can do EAL.

Yeah technically you can...
If you live somewhere like Korea or something until year 7 then you come to Australia, you can do both Chinese SL and EAL :P
