Title: What kind of bag do you use?
Post by: InsaneMDot on February 03, 2015, 01:39:50 pm
Messenger bags? Backpacks?
I'm having trouble finding a bag that can accommodate my 15.6" laptop without looking like a goddamn turtle, while still having enough space for books/etc.

Backpack for me. They're easier to carry when you have some serious weight in there :)

Yep, backpack is definitely the way to go.

... Off-topic but I reckon you should get a tablet/all-in-one (or even a smaller laptop). Carrying around a 15.6" laptop isn't beneficial whatsoever and over time since you're walking all around your campus every hour or two, it'll start to become an inconvenience.

I use a backpack when I'm going to be at uni for a long time/need to carry a lot about (i.e. lab days etc.), otherwise I'll just take a messenger bag I got at Officeworks to carry around pens and paper, water etc.

Regardless, you'll find what's best for you after a couple of weeks anyway.
