I'm interested in doing physics but I'm not doing maths. Do you guys reckon that I will struggle? Also, does the teacher teach the class under the assumption that everyone is doing some form of maths. Lastly, is physics as hard as everyone says it is? BTW I'm not that bad at maths, I just didn't receive it as a subject. Cheers.

Anyway, in VCE, there's definitely no pre-req (although many schools suggest you're doing some form of maths to assist your studies). However, if you want to do anything physics related at university, you MUST be doing maths, no arguments. If you think you'll want to study physics at uni, you disadvantage yourself for the future by not doing methods.

Physics in year 12 and 11 does not require difficult maths, this subject is more about knowing key concepts and how to apply them in certain problems. Concepts ARE key. Maths in physics is just substituting and rearranging. It's a problem solving kind of subject. Enjoy mi friend ;D
