can anybody tell me how this act restrained the activities and abilities of trade unions? cheers

Reduction in allowable award matters reduces the ability of unions to fight for the right of workers because the rights of workers are decreased...

Also, introduced AWA's which overrode collective agreements. In these instances people on individual contracts lost their collective power that they previously had under a collective agreement with their union?
