Hi, can anyone recommend a good level 3, semester 2 science subject? I'm enrolled in BCMB30004 Cell Signalling and Neurochemistry, NEUR30004 Sensation Movement and Complex Functions and OPTO30007 Visual Neuroscience, and I want to change out OPTO30007 for something else.
I'm thinking about:
GENE30005 Human and Medical Genetics - I will ask for a waiver if I can, but will it be difficult without having done Principles of Genetics?
BCMB30001 Protein Structure and Function
NEUR30005 Developmental Neurobiology
But I'm open to anything : ) I would even consider a level 3 Plant subject if there was no prac component, but I don't think there is

Unfortunately I've done no maths whatsoever at uni. I should say I'm majoring in the life sciences

That's a math subject that has math prereqs!
NEUR30005 seems interesting, but I have a feeling that it'll be time consuming. Personally, while GENE30005 sounds quite striking, I think it would be best if you have done GENE20001 and maybe even third year genetics. I think it's safe to say that inversions, translocations, and other more involved concepts would appear in GENE30005 (none of these were taught in first year science's biology).
