Title: Daily Accountability Thread
Post by: Cosec on July 10, 2015, 10:20:31 pm
In the hopes of increasing ones productivity and reducing the amount of procrastinating leading up to the final exams, i thought it would be appropriate to introduce a daily accountability thread, with the main aim of being more productive and ultimately increase ones results by the end of the exam period. Each day, preferably in the morning, everyone feel free to reply with what they aim at getting done by the end of the day. At the end of the day, or when one has finished studying, feel free to reply to your own post, or edit it and cross out all of the tasks you completed. I hope that it creates a bit of a productive theme in the thread where we can encourage one another to make the most out of the last (for the most part) term and ultimately spur each other on a little.
A simple template like the following could be used.

*Sorry Mods if i'm pissing you off by posting too much  ;D

I don't know if this even works but i saw it online that making a note of how much you have done a day reduces procrastination? The accountability thread makes you accountable for your actions. Post what you have achieved today.

How it works
If people are posting that they have done stuff and you haven't, it should bring up a guilty feeling in yourself, thus motivating you to do work tomorrow?

TY mods for merge, didn't know there was one b4 :)

Tl;Dr Post what you have done for the day :) Reduce Procrastination!

Good Luck to all Y12's this year :)

Moderator action: merged threads
