Title: Exam Revision Lectures with RMIT! (Including Year 11)
Post by: brenden on July 29, 2015, 08:42:13 pm
Hey everyone!

I'm sure many of you will have noticed that we've opened up registration for exam revision lectures this September holidays! This time, we're doing so with the gracious assistance of RMIT, which is very exciting given the location of the uni. Right next to Melbourne Central, I'm sure there'll be plenty of Macca's for you and your mates during the breaks if the RMIT cafés don't take your fancies.

We're also experimenting a little bit with Year 11 lectures: we're offering English Units 1&2 (by Lauren) and Methods Units 1&2 (by EulerFan101... whose real name is a mystery). Business also has a reprise, meaning we're offering English, Business, Bio, Chem, Methods, Physics, Psych, and Specialist Maths at a Year 12 level, with English and Methods also being offered at the Year 11 level.

Year 11 Methods will also offer relevant teaching to the new study design.

Registration and details here: http://bit.ly/1IQFdax, and questions in this thread!

I just want to say thanks! You have no idea the impact you have had on my learning and many others. All your lectures have been to amazing standards and you can tell that all the lecturers are experts in there field who know what they are doing. Not to mention that they are FREE!! Seriously guys you are making a difference to so many VCE students and especially those who other wise could not afford to go to other quite pricey VCE lectures!

So thanks a heap   :D

Let us know what you find out - he still won't tell the guys in the office what his real name is.

Been calling him Yooler for weeks until he grabbed me by the throat, stared in to my eyes like a savage animal for a few seconds and said, with awful amounts of menace, "It's pronounced Oiler."

Personally love Euler too, he's someone every mathematician can aspire to!! *shivers in excitement*

Just out of curiosity, what did you get for methods? Or is that meant to be a mystery too?

Rumour has it, he didn't actually take VCE, and was instead raised in the wild by a confused but brilliant group of rogue mathematicians. Thus, he has no formal education, and only sleeps 2 hours a night as he ponders the mysteries of the universe (and himself).

Or, in other words, they don't want you to know that he only got a 22 back in the day.  Use enough fancy words, and you can dodge anything you want. ;)
