hey, i was just curious as to wots every1 done in regards to holiday study as far? I've kind of been lazy so i haven't really done that much. I've only really done the set h/w and read through all my text :P

lol done the set hw except for chem (which im planning to drop after i get into the uni acct thing), read my texts once, saw the film, read an extra chapter of accounting textbook, n am finishing the 2nd chapter of the economics textbook. i suppose thats pretty slack, considering my set work wasn't much >.<

It's the holidays, it's supposed to be slack. Live it up now, because soon you won't have much chance to spend your days doing absolutely nothing. Although I still advise reading over course material at least.

i have done crap all... finished all set hw except for english + english language.... :( and i've only just finished 1984......

I don't think that sleep part is really necessary. And eating is only okay if the food is high in omega-3, like fish or lamb. And there's no reason why you can't eat and work at the same time.

i like the part about eating...
so far ive read my books for english done all my spec methods and bio homework and have made a tiny a dent (8 pages of questions)in the enormous workload (30 pages of questions) our nazi teacher gave us for chem

Completed all accounting and business management.
Read 2 of my texts, (A Man for All Seasons read twice), watching film text with my mate next week.
Economics is half done. English written stuff haven't started
and I can't do my last subject cause I don't know what it is yet. Pyschology or Methods CAS (repeat)

i'd suggest you do physchology again coblin because if you got a 24 the first year i don't think it'll change much the next year. No offence btw.
plus phychology isn't even that hard, fairly easy imo.
back to the forum, i've done the hw and alot extra :)

i would suggest psychology as well costargh. its quite easy compared to methods aiii , your methods year is over! . its easier to get your head around and you dont have to stress for no reason with psych lolz. easier to get higher marks if you gets a's... a+'s lol .
forgot u gotta do methods again if 25 is a prereq for your courses you will put down. so yeah think hard...

It is easier for humanities students to get a high score for psych than in methods but if you plan to do commerce and need a 25 to get into your course, methods is probably the way to go. Which is a shame because psych is awesome and relevent to many different courses and occupations.

Yeh I won't hijack this thread but yeh as most of you know, pre-req is required.

I would definately recommend completing psych as well. I don't think you should have to put yourself through the pain of completing a subject which you've already done. You'll probably end up absolutely hating it with a passion. You'll find psych extremely interesting and if you're willing to put in the effort, a 40+ in psychology is very possible.

all i've done is read my english texts. i haven't even bought half my books yet lol.

Started the holidays well, even had a holiday study plan. Some time between Christmas and the new year it fell apart though... for some reason I started playing starcraft, then i said 'bugger that' to the plan and right now I still have to do my holiday homework, good stuff.

i just rocked up to my supposed course thingy (it's a 1-on-1 thing) and my supervisor wasn't there... hmmm. how peculiar.

Our lectures for summer school have been a bit of a drag...lots of reiteration. I feel rather dumb right now ;P (as lecturer has to cater for all levels of intellect I guess...)

peter: well i read this chapter and some stuff from other books about convex functions (etc etc).
supervisor: all good. try a couple of questions from the end of the chapter.
peter: sure, okay.
supervisor: read section 6.3 and come back to me on friday and tell me what you've learnt.
