I know there are a lot of wanna be doctors on ATARnotes, so I was just wondering if any of you had gone on a gap medics placement? If so please share your experience!!

As in paramedicine? Sounds like fun to me ;)
Also, I find it's really good if you can find a casual doctor and get them to take you on rounds of ER and talk you through what they're doing along the way.

Hey man, gap medics is like a program where you go on a placement overseas e.g. Africa or Poland and get to shadow doctors and scrub into surgery (if you want) and you have your own medical mentor.
