Title: A+ Cutoffs
Post by: Aatif on November 10, 2015, 09:26:54 am
What do you guys think it'll be? I reckon for Exam 1 it'll be 36-37 and Exam 2 it'll be 71-72.

I think it was difficult enough to dip into 70. Very long winded MC and a couple of tricky 1 markers in the extended response.

Last year the A+ cutoff was 72 + 38 = 110, but mind that this year is definitely harder. The only real problem last year was the k question which is comparable in difficulty to the end D.E. Add the angle of elevation, trig inequalities, retarded M.Cs, and it's easily going to go 2-3 marks down from 2014, i'd say it'd end up comparable to around 105/120, so probably 37 + 68
