okay guys, idk if I'm panicking or not, but in the essay section of the englang exam you have to write your number in the box about which essay topic you chose and then write your essay
I wrote about the Australian one (can't remember which number it was) but I have a feeling that I wrote the incorrect number in the box (I can't even remember which number I wrote tbh)!!!! am I basically screwed and will get a 0 for the essay cos I wrote the 'wrong topic' to match my number :'( or will VCAA people be nice enough and notice :'(

it was 7... hopefully theyll pick up on it (imo they probably will, if you adhered well to that topic, given that examiners will have a degree of familiarity on all topics, and the point of the exam is not to penalise you for writing the wrong number in)

On the off chance that you did write the wrong number, it's very likely that an examiner will notice and then just refer it to someone else who is marking particular essay #s or simply readjust for themselves. The majority of the 'shade the box/write your question numbers' things are usually just clerical as to make organisation easier. You'll be fine!
