*** MANIPULATIVE NATURE OF FORMAL LANGUAGE ***

Hey guys!

Hope you've all rested and also smashing out holiday homework for Eng Lang! I'm in an article writing mood today, so felt like publishing an article on the obfuscatory and manipulative nature of formal language! This document only looks at it briefly and gives you an introduction to it :)

Your challenge as a burgeoning linguist is to try and find your own examples out in the real world, but hopefully the examples I give you get you started!
