hi!
Would you recommend nursing at Monash uni? I'm about to apply and i am fairly set on monash uni (peninsula).
I just want to know if I am making the right choice regarding the place and social vibe between the three campus for nursing in monash (peninsula, clayton and berwick). well and anything about their nursing program.
Also, i am going to be staying on campus accommodation, any thoughts?

Hi rosiestyles,
Thank you for your interest in Monash.
The Bachelor of Nursing is available at the Clayton or Peninsula campuses. At the Peninsula campus you can choose between completing nursing as a single or double degree. In addition to the 3 years single degree, the Peninsula campus also offers the 4 years Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery double degree. Choosing to study a double degree provides greater career options as you study two single degrees at the same time! Graduates can register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse and registered midwife.
In regards to university experience outside of learning, Monash clubs and societies are run by students for students. You can join a wide range of groups including academic, cultural, spiritual and special interest clubs. For a list of some of our Clubs and Societies, please visit http://www.monash.edu.au/students/associations/clubs-societies.html
If you were interested in organising accommodation with Monash, the Monash Residential Services can help you arrange accommodation. Please contact the Residential Services directly on the campus. For the Peninsula campus – email: [email protected] or phone: +61 3 9905 6266.
Finally, Open Day in 2016 for the Peninsula campus will be held Saturday 06 August, 10am – 3pm, Clayton's Open Day will be Sunday 7 Aug, 10-4 pm. At Open Day you can get a feel for the campus, find out about our variety of courses, how flexible they are, find out if you’re eligible for a scholarship, speak to current students first-hand to get their honest opinion about Monash, find out about volunteering opportunities and all the other cool activities you can do. You can plan your Open Day using the online planner: http://www.monash.edu/open-day
We hope the information helps and hope to see you at Open Day! Why not pencil in both dates and come for both campus sessions? You'll be able to gauge for yourself first-hand how the social vibe's like and perhaps make new friends! :)

Hi rosiestyles,
International applications usually take 1-3 weeks to be processed although turnaround times vary during the academic calendar year. If you would like to check the status of your application, you will need to email: [email protected] from the email address you provided in your application, or call +61 3 9903 4788 and have your Monash Student ID / Applicant ID ready.
We note that you have left the same enquiry on a different thread - hope our response helps and all the best. :)

Hi rosiestyles,
Credit transfer applications usually take 2-4 weeks to be processed. To ensure the fastest processing time for your credit transfer application, you should include certified copies of all official transcripts/results from previous studies (if not already provided) plus a detailed unit outline of all the subjects completed. Unit outlines must contain subject synopsis, week-by-week topic outlines, assessment methods, contact hours/length of subject, and names of textbooks used. The unit outlines must be official and from the same year that the units were completed. Hope the info helps. :)
